Time to find out what I really had bought.

As I started working on the car, I took lots of photos, hoping they would help me as I tried to get the car back to running order.

My first task was to arrange for someone to put the engine together, since I knew that was beyond my skills and my toolset. I found Frank Monise of Monise Motors, and took him the engine. I have come to regard that as one of the better decisions I made.

My next task was the brakes. I took out the master cylinder and sent it out to be refurbished, and got to work stripping out the brake lines, cleaning everything, and putting in new brakes, whether I needed them (I did) or not.

And I started looking for other problems that I was going to have to address. There were a lot.
