This Saturday we turn to the movie George Lucas started when he thought Star Wars was going to be a disaster.
Raiders of the Lost Ark is an homage to the cliffhanger serials of the ’30s and ’40s, with a young Harrison Ford fresh off of Star Wars and American Graffiti about to become one of the biggest stars in the world.
Before we’re treated to the next installment in the Disney production line, come see the movie that started it all.
The movie starts around sunset (close to 8 pm). There will be a pre-show and the snack bar will be open. Bring some lawn chairs (we never have enough).
